Perfect stay for our group. We were visiting to do a 26mile walk for charity and Lund house was the perfect base for use. Gorgeous house with plenty of space for the 8 of us staying. Thank you!
We enjoyed our stay at Lund House all the bedrooms are spacious and the kids really loved it. It is very close to many attractions. I would recommend it.
We loved the house. It had everything we needed. The only issue we could see was the stair carpet which badly needed a clean or replaced.
Lovely house affording the space for our party of 11 adults 1 small child. Bedrooms and beds were very comfortable and the lounge and kitchen had space for everyone. The hottub in the garden is a plus! Lund House is in good walking range for the centre of Ulverston. Some small touches would have made a difference A welcome pack of some of the essentials. More hand towelstea towels available in the kitchen. Bin liners for the bin in the kitchen. Trays for the ovens. Clearer instructions for recycling. In terms of cleanliness, downstairs window ledges were dusty on arrival and the dining table and countertops in the kitchen needed cleaning. The staircase is in need of some cosmetic attention.
Lund House is a high spec property with an excellent living room and very large, comfortable bedrooms. The kitchendining room is also of a good standard, although it's layout is not the most practical for a large group of people using it at the same time. The stairs to the top floor are very steep and unsuitable for elderly people, although this was manageable as the younger generation could stay there. The hot tub is great and we enjoyed the town of Ulverston, with the house in a decent location to access the town and nearby retail park.
A fantastic property with lots of space and a good amount of seating for our large family group. Beds were very comfortable great to have 2 ensuite rooms and everything was spotless. We also loved the hot tub. Just to note the stairs to the top floor really are steep which was fine for us but may be a consideration for others. Location was spot on for us just on the outskirts of Ulverston which is a really lovely town and well in reach of Windermere.
The house was a perfect size for my family stay. The outside area is a good space for children and dogs. The hot tub was perfect. All the rooms were really comfortable, tastefully decorated and well organised with plenty of space for us all. The stair and hall carpets were rather stained and the woodwork could do with a touch up as it made the interior look a bit scruffy. A small cleaning issue was that one of the bedroom bins had a nappy left in it but otherwise the rooms were nice and clean. The top floor bathroom lock and the downstairs toilet door need some attention as the children got stuck which caused a little distress. I hope the neighbours werent affected by us as they were 10 of us, 4 of which were excited children. We all had a lovely time, thank you.
